~niche makeover~

When we re-did our kitchen island and made it bigger we came upon a dilemma.
We needed a set of extra cabinet doors.
Sounds easy right?
Well, when i went to buy them I was told they were discontinued 2 weeks prior!
So, we swiped the doors off our niche, which worked nicely, but then we were left with a gaping hole. So this morning while my kids were out swimming,
I made some wood supports for these 2 Ikea baskets
I had laying around.
I painted everything out and voila!
I even cleaned up the top and re-accessorized!
I just found that adorable pig holding a chalkboard for
$6.99 at a local thrift store!
He's too cute!

You're amazing. If you lived by me, I'd hire you to go through this house like the white tornado and spruce up every stinkin' corner and wall and space and window and doorway...

All I have to say, is that you are awesome!! You always think of clever things to do, while I just sit around my house thinking about doing things, I need your energy!!!
