A couple people asked about what slipcover I got for our Ikea sectional.
It's a new cover and it's called svanby (or something like that)
beige, and it's a linen blend, gorgeous!!!
Looks just like linen!
I couldn't be happier!

That mirror in the first picture is amazing...i'm off to look at my catalog.
Okay I am so frustrated. We have been waiting to get that sofa because we have been fighting over a color. I want white, the husband wants tan. So when I heard you say there's a new linen color, I almost died. How PERFECT....except it doesn't come in the sofa :( Only the sectional. Svanby is a dark gray in the sofa slipcover. I guess I will just have to keep waiting...
Oh my gosh Melanie, you are a LIFE saver. I even searched it on the website and didn't find it until I actually just looked under slipcovers. Why in the world isn't it listed on the actual sofa checkout page!? THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Love your blog! Like you, I cannot believe my eyes with the new R.H. catalog! I literally dropped what I was doing and looked at every page.
I actually have that wooden three-tier server you show in like the last photo... was it actually for sale in the R.H. catalog or was it a prop? Anyway, I said "HEY! I have that!" (At least I have ONE thing in the catalog... haha!). ;)

Oh my RH catalog came yesterday and I am drooling. Wonderful stuff. I sure hope people buy it and keep them afloat with this look and finer quality.
Now you know we must see your walls in progress. This is going to be very exciting and quite a transformation.
Ooooh, I knew your poor hands would be killing you - take your time... Did you see I posted on the Restoration Hardware catalog yesterday too? Ok...I guess our mail is a little slower here in Walla Walla...BUT..I got my Restoration Hardware catalog last night and all I can say is OMG! Have they brought it all up about 100 notches or what??? This new designer is just fabulous. I want something from every page! The chairs on page 68 remind me of your new counter stools (at a lot more $) Melanie. I will keep this catalog for unending inspiration. Wow!
