~is it too soon?~

I know, I know.
Halloween JUST ended.
But I really wanna put my tree up!
With Thanksgiving so late this year,
I think it will definitely be up before turkey day.

what about you?

love the photos....I usually start decorating for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving...it's still a touch early for me...but it is my favorite time of year and I am getting ready! Happy Sunday!

It's your house... so do what makes YOU happy.

You decorate everything so beautifully, I just can't wait to see your Christmas decor.

I know, I am already thinking Christmas too. I like to get it done and enjoy! I think next weekend I will start little by little. This week do a Halloween put away and then I like to sort of do a Fall clean before I decorate each room. One reason it takes me awhile and I am getting slower and older,LOL, so got to start earlier.
Enjoy, next Friday hubby and I doing our usual visit to Wights and then dinner out. That place always gets me in the mood!

On November 1, without fail, I pull out my Narada Christmas CD that is really not that Christmassy, it is more seasonal. I get this great comforting feeling just listening it for the first time in the season! I have to do little things like this to get myself through to Thanksgiving!

Love the pictures! I absolutely don't think it's to early, lol! I am putting up my tree this week. I usually wait until the weekend of Thanksgiving but not this year, I got a new one and can't wait to get it up, plus I figure it comes and goes so quick why not enjoy the Christmas decorations a bit longer? I LOVE Christmas!!

I put my tree up last night! But we're having guests the next two weeks that we won't see for Christmas, so I'm using that as my excuse. ;)

I'm with you on this one. In years past, I've always waited till the day after Thanksgiving to start with the Christmas decor. This year, I'm ready to start planning now and probably in a few weeks, I'll gradually start putting out my Christmas decorations.

You are talking to the wrong person as I was in the decoration aisle at the grocery store today ~ plus I picked up some great snowflake candle holders. I am so into the holiday zone ~ I hope I do not burn out before December hits! I love all the pictures you chose today ~ simply beautiful. We have a real tree so it will only go up in December. I am a very traditional girl in that way.

I really love the turqoise colour on the cupboard on the last but one photo though they are all gorgeous. We usually decorate the first weekend in December. I prefer the build up to Christmas and hate to see the tree bare underneath so once Boxing Day is over can't wait to get the decorations down and spring clean. Putting the deforations up prolongs the build up and excitement.

I'm with you. I definately want to decorate early this year (I've already started listening to my Christmas music!), but the tree will have to come later as we always do a real tree. Your beautiful pictures make me want to start now.

Im not quite ready for putting up decorations (haven't gotten around to taking down my Halloween ones yet) but Im thinking about my Christmas cards so I think that counts :)

I am ready as well. Took down all of the halloween this morning. I am not really in to thanksgiving "decorating". I am thankful for everything in my life, but I would really to leave all of the fall decorating behind and put up my tree(s). My family may not be as ready as I am.

Oh, by the way. I have the pictures in my files. Love them. Thanks for reminding me.

NOT too soon!!

Once Halloween is over, Christmas is fair game ;) Although I'm going to wait a LITTLE longer, I was definitely tempted to line a pine scented candle this morning!

Love these pics!

I'm kind of ready for Christmas decor too! I decided today that I'm going to make burlap stockings for my dogs, so I guess I am ready!

According to my husband, it's not too soon. He said he wanted to put the tree up tomorrow!! Even though that's too soon for me, I've been thinking about xmas decorations and what I want to do in our new apartment.

As much as I love decorating for Christmas, I love my fall decorations just as much. Therefore I am not rushing.

Beautiful rooms, I like the simplicity of the pears on the stairs :).

I usually start decorating for Christmas after Thanksgiving because I adore fall, the pumpkins and the decorations and want to prolong it.

We got a light snow the other day, it really put me in the mood for wanting to put up just a small cream feather tree on my sofa table....I didn't, but I sure wanted to!
