~prettying up my pantry~

I thought today was a good day to give my pantry a mini makeover!
I did take out all the wire shelving about a year ago and replace it with 2 bookshelves, which have worked out perfectly!
I found some cute tags,
{I will give you the link at the end of this post if you want to download them too}
and went to town!
Here is what is behind doors number 1 & 2... cute vinegar and oil labels....
some of my less frequently used items go in these
tupperwares with tight fitting lids to keep them fresh.
close up of the labels....
I am using this vintage silver bud vase for toothpicks...
I do a lot of baking so it's always nice to have lots of sugar!!!
yum is right
my mom gave me this vintage chippy cream
colored bread box for my birthday, love it!
extra silverware if you are too lazy to walk over to the silverware drawer, trust me, this happens!
I am a sucker for pretty packaging
all the baking essentials I found the labels here,
{I used packaging tape to attach them}
The glass jars can be purchased here.
The oil and vinegar containers I got here.
I also used a lot of these for kids granola bars, chips, etc.
I am off to do some baking now that I know where everything is!
Enjoy the rest of your day!
xoxo

It all looks so pretty! I'm currently using small mason jars to hold my silverware, but now, I think I need pretty little pots instead. Cute idea!

I am constantly amazed at how much inspiration I come across through blogs I love, and seeing this has totally inspired me to add shelves to a blank wall area at the end of some cabinetry in our kitchen. We'd considered it before but weren't set on doing it... seeing this, seals the deal. I will fill it with lovely glass jars with these fabulous labels!!! Thank you SO much for sharing this. I do have to ask a silly/stupid question though... are your labels attached to the inside or outside of the jars? And, I know you said you used packaging tape but on what side of the label did you adhere it? Forgive me for being less than creative this evening. :)

~this looks like a trip to a beautiful mercentile store :-)

LOVE IT!

I am currently working on printing those labels for my pantry. Hubby is working late which means I will make my pantry as pretty as yours.

Love your creativity!

I have jars that look just like these. I got them from Target! They come in 3 sizes. I don't remember the brand name but the smallest was $7.99 and went up to 13.99.

I have the E A T letters that I painted black (wish I would have thought of what you did) anyway after my son eats dinner he always changes it up to say A T E, so I smile everytime I see it.
