You can't beat an $8 coffee table. It cleaned up very nicely and no longer has cobwebs. As Martha would say, "that's a good thing" I am debating on whether or not to put a piece of glass on the top, any thoughts on that?
A few cherry blossoms and some good books and I'm ready to relax for a bit!
love the table! and love the price! i have a similar table in our kitchen and i did cover it with a piece of glass! love that it makes clean up alot easier however i wish i would of purchased a thinner piece of glass! i think with a coffee table you can go either way! but on a kitchen table where there are crumbs in abundance the glass is the way to go! cant wait to see what you do!
I have glass on a sideboard but of course it doesn't get the "traffic" your coffee table will. I agree it will probably make your clean up easier but either way it will look great. I love your $8.00 find!
Oh my gosh - I LOVE it! I bet you are one happy girl! It fits in perfectly with the family room redo. You always find just the right things for your room ~ Sarah
Your table looks fabulous with your oh so comfy sofa in the background...the cushions look amazing! I just want to jump through the screen and have a seat!! Making me want to head to IKEA right now!! Love the chippy texture....glass would protect the table top as well as stop paint chips from getting on everything!! Your call...looks terrific either way!!
Melaine, LOVE it. Love those flowers as well!!!! : ))))))))))))))) You are so talented. I don't know anyone else who can find such amazing stuff for such great prices! That would be 50.00 here! Serious! You should open shop down here, you would be rich! I loved talking to you today! It made my day! When I do meet you, the camera will come out!!!! Keep in touch, Maria p.s. I am going to have to get a couple more books as well. I only have one of those!
Girl, you must get up pretty early for such great finds. I absolutely love it. Glass, well that depends if the glass will reflect a lot of light. Your room is so soft and comfy looking, anything really shiny might change the mood.
What a perfect table! I love it! I have given your blog the Happy 101 Blog Award. You can visit me at www.akmagnoliahouse.com Congrats and thank you! AK

It looks lovely and patinated though it's hard to see the whole thing. Beautiful pics though.

Nice... I would like to see the rest of the table :) I say glass for sure.
Smiles,
Sheila
I think the table is perfect but a piece of glass would be fun because you could put vintage cards between the glass and table.

I love it! And I'm still dreaming about your couch in my living room :)
I like the look of the table without the glass but it easier to dust with the glass on it, love the table.

you lucky duck. i absolutely love it. :)
Pretty. Yes to Glass.
Love it! What a deal. Honestly, I think it's great without glass...
It looks great. The glass would make it easier to wipe up... on the other hand, not wiping is ok.
Love it and love it just the way it is! :)
Love it! Its rustic and beautiful.
Wow, it really did clean up nicely! Looks great! I always love stopping by your blog to see what kind of projects you have been working on!

Can I just Say OMGOSH! I love this coffee table! Great find! Love the vignette and books! ~lulu
It's beautiful as is! But, you may want to protect it, so maybe glass would be good!
I love it! This table is just my style. Doesn't matter if you put your feet up. ;-)

I love your new coffee table ...And what a good deal
I'd say "no glass". It's beautiful in your room.
No glass! I love it with all the chippy paint exposed! Gorgeous!
I got a $4 coffee table at Goodwill that I still need to refinish. I wish mine had come complete with chippy white paint like yours!
love your $8 table
$8? really? what a score!
i'd say go without the glass
but either way is great
:)
Love it! What a find!! I think glass is fine, or maybe just a pretty tray to set glasses down on.
Love it! I want to see more of it!!
Love it just the way it is! No glass needed. So lovely!
