To my sweet Cody............
"Hold on to what is good, even if it's a handful of earth. Hold on to what you
believe, even if it's a tree that stands by itself. Hold on to what you must
do, even if it's a long way from here. Hold on to your life, even if it's easier
to let go. Hold on to my hand, even if someday I'll be gone away from you. - "

I wish boys could stay this age for a long, LONG time! I always heard that boys and their moms have a special relationship and it is SO true. Loved the picture and the poem is very touching. xx P&H
really precious <3
Melaine, Thanks for sharing such a beautiful poem. It is one that I will remember. I think it could give strength and hope at a difficult time.
Sweet picture of you and your son. Thanks for sharing.

I have a boy that is turning 16 in a few weeks and man has the time passed by fast.
Great verse.
such lovely words... :)
My youngest son (Nekoda/Cody) now ge 25, and his Canadian wife, moved to Canada last spring after graduating from Bible College here in Tulsa. My grown children and grandchildren all live long distances away. I am thankful for my daughter, at present residing in Tulsa, even though I don't see her much. You are so right to SAVOUR the moments now! They surely do pass quickly and quietly by. To LIFE!
