I got a new sewing machine.
Well, I actually got it for Christmas 2 years ago,
but just this week got it out to mess around with.
I have been making pillows and lavender sachets like crazy out of my new favorite thing~grain and feed sacks~
{The pillow in the front I made yesterday, the 2 in the back were purchased previously}
This one I made entirely out of Cath Kidston fabrics.
I love the colors and patterns in her fabrics!
It was $5!
Brand new in the box!
It has been a great place to lounge
around in our warm
weather we have been experiencing
from time to time here!

Here is a closeup of one of the pennant garlands.

And another I made out of various Cath Kidston fabrics.

My goal today is to make a seat cushion for that blue bench!
Wish me luck!

Those pillows are way fun! Great job on all of your projects! Cannot wait to see more!
Great pillows - love the grain sacks too - I'm anxious to see what you do with the bench. So then I'll know what to do to mine. You're an inspiration for sure.
Saw your write up on Dreamy Whites - Congratulations, it's nice to know you a little better.

I love this garland.... so sweet!!
I need to hang our hammock. I'm having trouble finding a good spot. My FIL got it for us in Mexico at our beach wedding...almost 2 years ago.I love it, I just need to find the perfect spot!
Those garlands are so pretty. I'll have to look for some Cath Kidston fabric.
I want one of those banners! So cool! Those pillows are awesome too! Where do you find that fabric at? Did you order it online?
AHHHH!!!! I'm so jealous about the $5 hammock, lucky duck=0) Everything else is gorgeous too!

Beautiful pictures and it makes me homesick...I saw those rodies one of my favorite things about the N.W. I used to take them for granted but funny how they are what I miss the most, well besides my Grandson.
I have a new sewing machine I bought 6 months ago that I need to break out!! Pillows are on the top of my list but your banners inspire me! Great job!

Hallo, Sweden here....
I must tell you, that I still love your virtual & image blog!! Amazing mix of pic's & so much inspiration!
Regards from Agneta
Melaine the pillows are fab. I've been hunting for some grain sacks myself, so far a little too pricey. I especially love the Paris ones. You take such great photos - the hammock one is especially pretty.
Enjoy the weekend.
