I needed a little extra storage in the master
bath so I picked up this $15 cabinet at a local garage sale.
It was just the right size, but not the right color,

so I sanded it down and painted it roadster white by
Ralph Lauren to match the vanity I painted previously.

I had this mirrored tray in the bathroom before
and just moved it up to the top of the new cabinet.

It holds all the pretty stuff I like to look at!
of room for my mac makeup obsession!
you'd rather not see out in the open.
I'd throw a picture of them in here as well!

I love how they "hug" the sink!

You are so lucky to have space in your bathroom to add a cabinet - I sure wish I did. And I love the creative makeover...just perfect!

What a great makeover! That cabinet perfect in there.
Love the orchids too! I love that they hold their blooms for so long. My family got me one for part of my mother's day gift and the blooms just fell off after all this time. Can't wait til they come back and hope I don't kill it in the meantime. :)
Awesome transformation! What a bargain:)
Well, look at you, you clever lady! I love that cabinet ($15, get out!) and what a great look with your orchids hugging the sink! Great job Missy!

I need to find better garage sales. This is great. I love what you've done to it.
I love it Malaine...so much prettier with the crackle finish sanded out. Unless the crackle is the real thing I think plain and simple looks so much better. You are the hot garage sale QUEEN! When are we going next?

GREAT cabinet and such a ingenious idea to have the glass cut...it looks like an antique doctors cupboard now! LOVE IT!!!
had a rotten day- and your blog always sounds so cheery - just what I needed! thanks
OMGosh, I love this cabinet. NOW...I would have thought to repaint it...but never would have thought to REMOVE THE PANEL and add GLASS. AWESOME...you sure know how to take things OVER THE TOP.
I adore your decorating...:))
The cabinet looks like it was made to go with your vanity! Gorgeous!
I have a question, unrelated to your bathroom, but completely related to your home... I just finished looking at your pictures on HGTV Rate My Space and I was wondering what font you used for the address on your door?
