~red white & blue~

Hello!
A few of you requested more photos of my home decorated for the fourth.
So.................
here they are!
This is my son's nightstand.
His room already has these colors in it,
so no decorating in there was necessary! A stack of ironstone platters in the dining room
with a vintage tablecloth my mom gave to me.
A found a couple of these old milk crates at a tag sale.
The colors work perfectly and they make great planters!

I normally don't have all this color in my home,

but it's a nice change for a couple weeks!

I borrowed this pillow from my son's room.

These flags are super inexpensive and they
make a huge impact when clustered together.
You can usually find them at dollar stores.
She's ready for some fun~are you?
I made several of these banners to hang around the house.
The flag was all ripped up so I felt OK with cutting it,
otherwise I wouldn't have.
I love how the colors are so faded with age.

Some more cheap flags!

I already showed this picture,
but thought I'd throw it in again!

My son made me this flag art in preschool.
I love displaying the children's artwork.

I recently got this coke crate at a tag sale
and am using it on the patio table near
the grill to hold silverware, napkins, etc.

Well, that's about it.
Have a great day!
xoxo

All So Beautiful! I just made some flag garlands last night. They are really fun! I didn't see any Fourth of July fabrics I liked so I just went with my interpretation. I love yours made with the flag. Love your fireworks here tonight sign - love the pillows - love the kids art - the bathing beauty - and the crates - all fantastic! Have a very happy fourth!

Very cute ideas! Not too over the top. I did a little myself today and of course, blogged about it. My house is already red and blue, so easy peasy. Have a wonderful Independence Day!

Love all of the details. The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays! I can't wait until we move into our new home and I can start collecting these types of decorations for the holidays. How do you store all of your holiday decor? Is it all in plastic bins and labeled?

I love decorating for the 4th, too! Saw your house on Jennifer's site. Nice! I was featured in Nov. 2008. My home decor has changed quite a bit since then. Hope you stop by to say hello!

Everything looks just beautiful. I was wondering where you bought your sectional? I'm looking for one right now and I'm trying to figure out the best place to buy. I usually buy used pieces and paint them or whatever but with a slipcovered sectional...no luck.
Thanks a bunch!
