~I did it~
I made my wreath!
But first I wanted to show you this photo of a little fall vignette in my kitchen.
I got this little silver trophy cup from Cindy, queen of tarte, and filled it with orange dahlias.
I am not good at giving tutorials, so at the end of this post
I will share some other people's tutorials
that you might find helpful.

I totally winged it.
I used pages from 3 different vintage sheet music books.
Some were more weathered then others, but I like the mix.

I actually used more straight pins than hot glue, folding each sheet into thirds, only creasing it at the ends to pin it in.
{I told you I was horrible at tutorials}

It took a lot longer than I thought and it used a lot more pages than I thought, but I did not burn my fingers, probably thanks to the low temp glue gun.

I also got really inspired and made this sign out of an old door I had laying around.
I added a bunch of crows for the season and this cool architectural piece that I got from Cindy , that I turned into a candlestick.
{can we say run on sentence?}
I think it needs a bit of color.
I will probably try bringing in some fall leaves or just add a few mums, maybe a little orange pumpkin.

FANTASTIC!!
Who knew Starbucks was a creative juice not just a coffee!
I love it.... it's perfect. I am on Facebook and I am a fan of "Gooseberry Patch". Today is Trivia Tuesday and they asked if we could have anyone to dinner, who would it be. This was my comment (cut and pasted) below my name.

how great! i love this!
Your wreath looks great! Your vignette is fun, too! I especially like the crow sitting in the middle of the wreath. Very festive!
I think yours turned out really great! I love the mixed colors of sheet music, too. It's more vintage that way. Your fall vignette was really pretty~ love the shiny silver, autumn orange, and chippy white behind.

LOVE the wreath - I cut up a half-a-million hearts for valentines day - glued a third of them to my wreath and NEVER finished it... maybe before 2011 Valentines' Day :)

Love the wreath! You did a great job. I might have to tackle this project sometime. It would look great in my library/piano room! Love the Crystal Lake sign too.
I love it! So funky and fabulous!
Just saw on West Elma a preview holiday decor video - it's all about decoating with old pages of vintage books - sheet music would be great too. Check it out - you'll be amazed.
oops....a few typos in comments above. Sorry . ... that's West Elm and decorating.

WOW, it's so fabulous! Just so you know, you're not the last one to make a wreath, I haven't done it (YET). You've inspired me, let's see if I can get it done before Halloween...
