~quote of the day~

If there were no schools to take the children
away from home part of the time,
the insane asylums would be filled with mothers.

I can't believe there are mothers out there that say they are glad to see their children go off to school just so they can have a day of "freedom." No one forced you into being a mom and there is no better person in this world to raise your child better than you. When your children spend 8 hours a day with a teacher and 3 hours at home with you at night, the teacher becomes the primary influence. If a teacher can handle 20 children 8 hours a day why can't their own mothers? If what this quote says is true then the insane asylums should be filled with teachers because they spend more time with the children than their own mothers.

Anonymous, I totally agree with you. A very telling and sad quote.
Darling children though!
