~15 Glowing Holiday Mantels~

I know, it's not even Halloween and the Christmas talk has begun!
My friend texted me today to tell me this photo was featured on hgtv.
There are some pretty fabulous mantles on that same link too you should check out, if you have the holiday decorating bug..... Here is what they had to say.....

Oh my gosh how exciting! I have always loved this mantel and created my own chalkboard similar to this just for this purpose! Can't wait to use it... right now it's in the kitchen displaying "Bread and Pastries baked fresh on the premises" heehee!

How fun! I bet you're so excited! You're PUBLISHED!!! Maybe you are already. ;-) Well, I think it's ADORABLE. I'll probably have to copy it somehow.

I love the chalkboard mantel. I'm also in love with chalkboard paint. I ahd a 50's table and chairs that didn't sell in my booth, so I painted them with the chalkboard paint. I'm going to write on the chairs; "Chairwoman and chairman" I thinks it will be great for kids.

So cool! That song always reminds me of the shower scene on Elf. Too funny.

Oh this makes me wish I had a mantel to do things like this with. Having a wood stove makes it difficult. I will be dreaming of a White Christmas and a Mantel!

This is really cool! I love the look! You are truly creative. Wish it would fit my mantle...but it's too angular. But, this look would be good in the dining room... Hmmmmmmmm

This one was the most charming to my taste as I checked out the others.... Would be sweet with mittens and socks hanging from it....

Congratualtions, Melaine! Your mantle is beautiful and I love the ornate frame on your chalkbaord. We don't have a fireplace mantle yet....hopefully by Christmas. It has been a dream of mine to decorate a mantle at Christmas with greenery, candles and stockings.

This is so great! I just picked up a ton of old frames for a show I'm doing in a couple weeks. I's obviously focused on Christmas shopping so I'm up to my eyeballs in Christmas things now. I can't help but get excited for Christmas decorating already.

It's OK with me because I am really interested in Christmas style this year. So pretty with the white plus one color (almost any color!). I think I will be going with a washed white plus silvery-green. Can't wait to get going on it. Thanks for the ideas.
