Did I happen to mention I love Halloween?
Yeah, I know, only 4000 times now.
Well now that October has finally arrived, I am ready to break out the decor!
Have you seen this house?
It totally inspired me!
One thing I like to use in my Halloween decorating is fake crows.
They freak some people out, but I love them.
The more the merrier,
or
should I say, the spookier?

They are pretty realistic, don't you think?

Martha uses them on a dining table.
I love how they look like they just got caught getting into the candy corn!

Good Housekeeping shows a little different version, but still very cool.

Can't wait to see your take on crow decor!
Love all these...can't wait to see what you do:)
My youngest LOVES Halloween! He wants me to transform our home into a haunted house (he's been asking me to do it since the first day of school)! ;) We have a HUGE flock of real crows that live in our yard (hubby feeds them) - so we're pretty set for outside crow decor. Can't wait to see how you decorate!!!
Thes are GREAT ideas for sure, I will definitely be adding some crows to my collection! xoxoxo ~Ashley
What great ideas...I am waiting to see what YOU come up with- Hugs- Diana
Country living always has the most amazing photos. They always make me so jealous!
:)
I need to get my big orange rubbermaid bins out!!!!
I didn't jump on the crow bandwagon last fall, but this fall it has grown on me and I've added a couple to my Halloween decor. They do add just a flavor of spooky, don't they? My local dollar store had some small feathered ones too. Love your inspiring collection of pix.
How fun is this. My head is now SWIMMING with new ideas. Thanks so much. Love all of the crows and that image of them with the typewriter? - Inspired. The house you linked within your post was truly amazing.
Have a great weekend.

Lots of good inspiration here! Great photos! Now I am in the mood to start my decorating and add in a crow here and there.
Wow, you are quite creative! What a fun site to visit! I bought one black bird this year to use! You sure made it look like they are real!

Great images...I LOVE decorating for fall too!! ;)Rachel
Luckily, I don't need fake cobwebs :) Can't wait to see what ya did - I dont really like decorating for Halloween, I'm weird that way - but I totally don't mind these little black crows.
Oh I'm in love with these crows too! did I read that you are selling crows?
I love all of those pictures!
Wow! Great ideas! Thanks for sharing. It's like a one stop place for inspiration.
Such great ideas. Love the crows.
Love those black birds....most of my Halloween decor this year is mostly black and white this year too. Love the Spanish moss....hmm, I may have to add some to the porch. My kids just decorated it for Halloween, just might be the touch I'm missing.
I'm so with you! I usually cover my front porch with crows...some people love it, and others avoid my house for the month of October! Thanks for the great sources for expanding my collection...my husband will LOVE that! {wink!}
AMAZING - I SO wish that this would catch on in the UK. We tend to decorate for Halloween on the night, but not with such enthusiasm - I will definitely be trying some of these ideas - thank you! xx
Hi, I read the Lettered Cottage blog daily and stumbled upon yours. I love to decorate for all seasons as well. The reason I am commenting is because you love crows. I read a book as a teen called the secret of the seven crows and what I have remembered ever since is the saying in the book that I thought I would share with you. One crow means sorrow, Two crows mean joy, Three crows a wedding, four crows a boy, five crows mean silver, six crows mean gold, seven crows a secret that has never been told. This applies to crows you see around. My girls and I love to do this in the car all the time. Of course we take 2 little birds to make one crow because who wants to have a sorrowful day :o)
Wish I had the money to do all of that.....might get the hay and blackbirds though, LOVE THAT!!!!
