~fabric makes me happy, migraines do not~

Sorry about my lack of posting.
I have been in bed for 3 days straight.
You see, I get migraines.
I also have a fab prescription that takes them away instantly.
Unfortunately the insurance co. would not refill my prescription until today, and today, it is gone.
So there you have it.
This was one of the worst.
Vomiting, cold sweats, couldn't open my eyes. Good times, good times.
My poor husband had to play mom and dad, but he did a great job.
When I finally made it out of bed this morning, the house was surprisingly clean!
So, I am way behind.
I have a gazillion emails to check, pillows to put on etsy
{oh yes, soon I promise!}
bills to be paid, and grocery shopping to do.

However, the only thing I seem to want to do this morning is go fabric shopping!
I know, weird right?
I just have the urge to make some holiday pillows and stockings and I think a trip to the fabric store is just what the doctor ordered!

I haven't even taken my Halloween decorations down.
Christmas has been on my mind early this year.
I always promise my husband I won't start decorating until after Thanksgiving,

I also have a sosobella winner to announce!
{thank you for your patience}
Laura from mom art
you are the winner!
Pls. email me and I will get you in touch with sosobella and you can pick out your prize!
I'll be back shortly with an etsy update, pinky promise!!

Oh you poor thing! I'm so sorry but glad you finally get your medicine today!

When that happens to me our pharmacist is usually able to give me 1-3 pills to hold me over until the full coverage kicks in. Perhaps your pharmacist could do that the next time.

Mine then gives me the rest of the prescription pills in a few days when it's o.k.

Anyway, have an awesome day and go shopping if you feel better, you deserve it!

Its amazing how you get the urge to shop for something you don't need right away but you just somehow have to fit it in to your schedule now. I do that to myself a lot. I also get migraines sometimes and there is nothing worse. But if shopping is what you want to do, it might end up making you feel better or at least taking your mind off of it.

I'm so sorry about the migraines, I used to be plagued by them. I think going thru menopause helped mine as I haven't had one in a long time. Love these fabrics, can't wait to see what you come up with next. Get to that fabric store, you have wonderful taste!

Though we are on opposite ends of the country, it must be in the air. You described my husband's state completely this morning. I have never had one and by witnessing how my husband suffers I wouldn't with them on anyone. I'm glad you are feeling better.

Migraines are so awful...I am glad you finally were able to get your medicine! I love fabric and could spend hours looking at it and trying to make a decision. Love those samples you shared! Glad you are feeling back to yourself!

I am sorry you have been ill. I had migraines for many, many years. I would have them for three days at a time and no medicine helped. I am happy to say that once I hit menopause, they stopped completely. I have not had as much as a tension headache since I was about 50.

Good Luck!

So glad you are feeling better, Melaine!!! How cute your hubby took such great care of everything. I made some simple fun little holiday pillows a few weeks ago for the shop and am taking them in this weekend. Felt like it was a little early for xmas...but I guess customers have been asking for holiday stuff, so maybe not! ;)

Oh, you poor dear. I'd rather go through childbirth again than have debilitating migraines. They are the worst. Glad you're feeling better.
