it might work better if there weren't such a strong contrast between the wall color and the headboard. a more unified "neutral" background would be a better fit for orange and blue. and they need something above the headboard.
I love it. Unlike Claudia B, I love the contrast between the dark headboard and the wall. I love the pops of red-orange. That's one of my favorite colors. I plan to do a post about how I use red-orange touches in my decor sometime this week.
Very nice! I think the hints of cobalt blue on the side tables add to the look!
I think the blue and orange combo will be short lived, but it definitley works. I am not an orange gal so I am not a fair judge, hehe!!! KS
I think I'd LOVE to visit it, but not to live in it.
Love the pop of orange..not much on the blue.
I love orange when used right but I'm not a massive fan of that shade! I think orange goes best with other light colours! My bedroom at home was orange, yellow, lime greens and the wall was cream & I loved it! X
I agree with Yanet. I like the contrast. I wanted something different in my powder bath and painted it orange (actually persimmon) and decorated the walls with blue willow pieces. I'm having fun with it and get a lot of compliments. Orange and blue is a hip, bold color combo that my 24 year old loves.
I love it, definitely different from the same color palette that everyone seem to have these days. I like original stuff
It's nice...for someone else.I only LOVE orange when it's very bright and mixed with Black and White.
I'm not crazy about the colors, but I want to marry that gorgeous headboard!
I really like it! I went to UF so it reminds me of Gator colors, but I honestly think it looks sharp and bright at the same time. An attractive palette that can be masculine too.
Love the blue...but orange is just not a color for me. You asked! :)
It has a strong retro feel ~ Very 70's Sunset Magaizine :0)
Has a very masculine feel to me
love...orange is one of my favorite colors
I love orange with everything, so I'm a fan of this color palette.
LOVE orange and blue but not here not together. this just reminds me of the Denver Broncos or Chicago Bears.Maybe if it had one more color to break it up.
I absolutely love it. I'm actually planning to do a shades of blue & orange scheme in our living room this year!
Orange and blue have never been my favorite but if they are put together I prefer it for younger people.
I love it! But I may be a little biased... this is the color palette in my living room. :)
It's "OK"...just "OK".
It is very "campy" or a bit "Ralph Lauren". Not that I don't love Ralph Lauren or campy! I can appreciate this look, but it is not something I would chose for myself. My cousin has combined an orange/red with a lighter aqua/Tiffany blue throughout her home and it works really well!!~xo/michelle~p.s. seriously, when is this rain going to just go away??? Now it's getting windy again......sigh.
It's very pretty to look at...however,I wouldn't spend money on orange, it's not a color I love.
Interesting color palette, Love the headboard, just don't know if I could sleep with that color. It is differeent than the everything else that you see lately.
i love it! and i don't even like orange.
Not my style, however I am LOVING orange lately!
not my style
Nope. I love everything but the orange.
I love the blue and like the orange but it is definitely not my style. I bought a couple of chippy grey hooks from your Etsy and will be featuring them in a post on my (very) new blog. Love your style :)
i dig it ♥
Not a fan - truth be told I think I cringed a little. LOL! Sorry!
I'm in the love to visit it but wouldn't want to live with it camp. However, I think part of my problem is the sharp contrast between the colors in this room. If things were softened up a bit, it might work much better for me.
I'm not particular fond of deep orange, but this room really does look inviting and peaceful.
Orange is very hot right now!! Although the wall color is a bit stark. Happy Monday, I hope you have a wonderful week!Best,Laurie
i don't like orange
I love it as is, but I also love how easy it would be to change. Just switch out the pillows and throw and there you go... ~jaimehttp://okla-home-a.blogspot.com/
