~a quickie project~

Sorry about yesterday's post.
I guess blogger was having trouble uploading pictures.
I wanted to share with you this quick and easy project I did in about 5 minutes!
I found this old cupboard door at a garage sale and it already had the perfect chippy pale blue paint~I didn't have to do a thing to it, except clean the dirt off.
I then added a stencil with black paint and sanded it down lightly.
I get all my stencils from this etsy seller.
That was it!
Now I just have to find a spot for it!

LOVE it! I had just written on my Spring mantel post how I'd love to find a vintage sign for my mantel. This is almost exactly what I was looking for! Now, if I could only come across a door ... and those great stencils ... and your talent. :) Thanks for sharing, *Becca*

Lovely!

You did a good job realizing that the old door could be used for something as beautiful as that.

And thanks for sharing the stencil shop, I think I might order something there.

It looks like it's painted that way on purpose, to look some kind of old and used. But with the fact that it isn't it looks stunning.

Love this cute piece! I messaged the etsy shop about getting this same stencil and they said it wasn't theirs? Any other stores it could have been? Thank you=)
