I love using fresh flowers in my home.
Even if it's raining outside
{which it usually is}
they somehow bring a little sunshine in.
I also like using them in containers other than the typical vases.
The blue flowers above are displayed in a vintage canister, while the roses below are in a pretty white enamel pitcher.
Mason jars are a great inexpensive way to display single blooms.
You can also recycle your leftover jam and jelly jars right out of your fridge for a different approach to this.
Grouping colorful flowers with old bottles in the same hue makes for a striking display.
I'm thinking hydrangeas in vintage blue mason jars would be lovely!
This is one of my favorites, the colors are beautiful.
Here is a tip.
Head to your grocery store and buy some of this.

Empty the contents into another container and use the tin for a vase, it's gorgeous!
You don't need to look further than your kitchen cupboards......
This is very sweet.
A little jar filled with clippings and tied onto a fence with ribbon.
But if you must, standard vases are always beautiful too.
No matter how you display your fresh flowers, they are sure to add a little bit of sunshine to your home!

Love the purple. I did a post on purple flowers today.
Love all the flowers and simple elegant containers. We keep fresh flowers in the house as often as possible. Great ideas in your photos.
My favorite is the roses in the pale blue tin too! When I saw the photo the first time I started researching tins looking for one like it. I found there are some gorgeous tea tins out there. I also love the pansies in the purple glass bottles. I have wanted to start collecting these bottles. Maybe I'll have a few by next spring and can do a pansy display!
I absolutely love having fresh flowers in my home. These are just beautiful and the containers inspiring. Thanks for sharing!

Love the lilacs - so pretty to look at and so wonderful to smell! I can't get enough of fresh flowers and I think I need a cutting garden full of them to keep my home in constant supply!
gorgeous! That's what I do too....scatter arrangements throughout the house...it just makes me feel happy!
Tea cups are my favourite thing to use.

makes me think of all those tins I collected should be used for this, thanks for the idea...are you funky junking this weekend? It's sunny out today..yeahhhh!!!
One of the sweetest gifts I ever received was from a friend who brought me flowers when she was invited to our July 4th picnic. She had clipped some from her yard and put them in an empty mayonaisse jar and tied the jar with a little gingham ribbon. Absolutely adorable and as country as it gets. Right up my alley!! Thanks for sharing the pics!! :)

Yes, me too . Love the flowers ;) sooo pretty. I love having them in my hone.
Such beautiful arrangements. I really adore the pink roses in the vintage tin.
I love the jars that Bertolli Alfredo Sauce comes in. I also love the bottles that the coffee drinks are in. Pick a pretty bouquet and tie a pretty ribbon around the top and both make great gifts.
Love all of the flowers. So creative. The insulator turned into a vase is wonderful!

Just gorgeous flowers. I just love your blog!
It is really nice picture and looking so great. Amezing and very beautiful flowers.
Truly an amazing post on fresh flowers being at home. I too love decorating my home with fresh flowers. Their fragrance makes home smell good and feel alive. Mostly I use services of Same Day Flower Delivery florists because they deliver fresh flowers on time.
