Wow that house is gorgeous! I love the barn door in their bedroom and all the other aged wood pieces through out the house. They really pop against all the white. Almost convinced me to move to Oregon. Almost.
What a great home. I dream of living in Oregon, In a home like this. And I'd want to buy it fully furnished. Thanks for Sharing. Does your friend have a blog......she needs one.
I realize this may not be a popular comment but...WAY too much white! It's a beautiful home with some magnificent artitectural details but it's all lost in a sea of paleness. I noticed you were coveting her current home and feeling yours paled in comparison (no pun intended). I must say that your home and decorating style is so much more beautiful, imaginative and original.
That's it! I am painting everything white. I have been toying with the idea too long. Last week I painted my bedroom white, this week... Lowes here I come for buckets of snowflakes and cream. This post, Leah's house, is so wonderful. I am truely inspired. Thank you.
Love the photos of Leah's home in your post, but the links from your post today only take you to her website where she is selling her artwork and clothing. I expected to see more of her home. Does she have another blog or website where she shows more of her home decorating?
I just hosted a photography retreat there and it is a DREAM. Feels like you're resting in a cloud. I so wish I could buy it...I'll be sad to not go there with Leah anymore. Lara
I like white but thats entirely tooooooooo much white. The first thing I noticed is almost every room was the white, not the architecture or perks of the home. I too live on the Oregon coast and while many homes here have really bold wacky colors which I dont like either....this is too stark. I really have to look past the white to actually see the house.
This home is absolutely dreamy! all of the details are clear, regardless of the white. Truly elegant in a cottage way. I have lusted after that old pink venetian mirror when I saw it in a magazine somewhere...and here it is!!
I remember seeing this in-what was it?- Flea Market Style mag? I absolutely fell in love with her home! And she's near me in OR! :) I can't believe they are selling! I wish I could buy it. Loads of inspiration.
