I want to have a lake home so badly!! While I didn't live on one growing up I was at one constantly in the summer! I'm sad that my kids don't have that access. or a boat...or a jet ski. I'm sure they'll need therapy later in life!
Ahhh....lifes simple pleasures I feel calmer just LOOKING at those pictures...just beautiful!
I grew up that same way and it was the best!!!

How fun! We look forward to living on a lake someday too!
Lake life is the best! Our boys love it and we can't imagine any other place to live. Have a great summer.

Hey Melaine!I left you a comment over at Etsy, but wanted to try you here too. Can you drop me a line at LaylaPalmer at aol dot com? I've got a question for you!:-)Layla
I love it when you share stories of your wonderful neighborhood!! I grew up spending summer weekends at my Aunt's lake house in Wenatchee and it has been my dream to have a cabin on a lake some day!
We are currently under contract on a second home on Lake Eufaula in Alabama (we plan to retire there someday). It is absolutely beautiful and we can't wait to get started making it our own. I am so glad I found your site! Your home is fabulous! You have already given me many great ideas to use.
This was my brother and I too! We grew up in a Lindal Cedar cottage on a small lake in Marysville WA. My Grandparents home was on the other side..so we would paddle down there to get a pop. My husband and I married lakeside at my Grandparents-then aunts home. Good memories..your kids will carry them forever!
