This little nook in our kitchen I am always changing up.
It's fun and it keeps me out of trouble :)
Yesterday I added a stack of ironstone plates that I once had for sale at Ruffles and Rust Square.
When I started dreaming about them at night I knew it was time to go in and reclaim them.
It's a secret love affair I have with ironstone.
I also raided my parents peony garden yesterday.
Thanks Mom and Dad, you grow much lovelier peonies than I ever could.
I filled a white bowl with fruit, and added a new/old oil painting I got recently.
I LOVE the pink and the turquoise together~one of my favorite color combinations.

And just for fun, here is what the same nook looked like this past winter.
Goodbye hot chocolate and hello lemonade!

Maybe some sweet tea too! Looks great!

Can't beat peonies, but your setting certainly makes the most of them!
Haha, I'm sure we have all gone back to reclaim something we have once put into our space to sell. I would have gone back for those lovely ironstone dishes too!
Happy Fourth!

What a fun little spot to change out from time to time. The peonies are beautiful!
Love the nook and the recipe background is wonderful. Such a fun place to change up from time to time. Hugs, Marty
I am LOVING the horse picture with the touch of blue! I love horse pictures but the blue with the peonies is beautiful! Would love to find something like this for my daughters room as she wants a french style horse themed room.

Happy July 4th!

Loved the hot chocolate, but the lemonade will be fun for summer. Love peonies, but the heat here has gotten to ours.
I crush on the ironstone too. It just adds that home comfort to any setting.
I LOVE this post!!! If you get a chance visit my Blog, ~Garden Adornments~ and my new Etsy shop ~Strolling Through Time~

Lovely!looks great!
I like very much!!!BRAVO!!ALL YOUR JOB IS POETRY.
Also a lover of ironstone so I understand what drew you to 'glean' from your own antique space:)
Trying to figure out where Crystal Lake is...we will be moving to our families little lake house full time and will be editing LOTS of my vintage ironstone collection. Are you on the west side of the mountains? Okay, just reread your post and it sounds like you're on this side if your space is in Snohomish??? I have a space at a store in Mount Vernon which I will start bringing some pieces in as I slowly figure out what I can truly live without - so if you're up this way perhaps there is a piece or two you would like to add to your collection!
You have a wonderful blog!

Hi! Did the recipe wallpaper come in that size? Do you know where I could get something similar? I absolutely LOVE it!
