~this is what my dream cottage would look like~

has some serious decorating talent.
I love everything about her designs, simple, clean, lots of neutrals, very relaxing.
Some of these photos will be repeats for you, but they are still so fun to look at I think!
Next spring I am planning on planting a ton of white climbing roses. I already have them ordered and can't wait till they arrive!
She uses a ton of signs in her designs~LOVE signs, need I say more?
This bathroom has been a long time favorite of mine.
We are in need of a renovation in our guest bath and this one is at the top of my files!
I love wing back chairs, so classic, and I especially love them in neutral un-fussy fabrics.
 White, ecru, cream, eggshell............
And you know I love the contrast of light and dark, and that horse!
 Grain sacks and hydrangeas....oh my.
One of my favorite kitchens ever.
I know you've seen this photo before.
A bathtub in your bedroom? Why not!
Now that says cottage to me!
Have a great weekend friends!
And remember if you live in the area, we are having a huge sale at Ruffles and Rust Square today only!
xoxo

Luv everything, except it's missing a sturdy long and winding flat stone wall in the front, around back, etc - which I adore against white/cream, ecru - well you get the idea:) Thx for sharing these gorgeous snaps!

Lisa~the name of the roses I ordered are
Madame Alfred Carriere. I was told they are hearty, easy to grow, and grow quickly, and are very fragrant! Good luck! xoxo

I met Nancy a couple of years ago! She was so cute and sweet! She was wearing gray linen which made her soft white hair look like silk! I really admire her style!

I love the style. Airy, warm, sunny .. perfect for a beach cottage.

Our beach cottage is a little different, but still has the mix of charm (original french-canadian-craftsmen log-cabin) with open concept/big windows/ lots of light.

We use the cottage year-round, in scorching summers and cold Canadian winters, so some of the colours were introduced to work in winter as well.

I'd appreciate your thoughts!

This cottage gives me the idea of tranquility. I love how the white décor and the wood combination make the room bright and peaceful-looking. If I were to look for a dream home, I would definitely choose something like this because it makes me feel relaxed and stress-free.
