~what a wonderful home~

I've been in bed for almost 2 days with a migraine.
Not being one that likes to hold still, even with a throbbing head, I have been going through pages of old magazines.
One of my older issues of Southern Living has this great house belonging to Mitch and Gaye Drew.
I love everything about it, it's very cozy.
I think I've posted pictures of it before,
so for some of you these may be a repeat, but I never tire of looking at them.

I'm sorry to hear about your migraine. I know how debilitating they can be, ugh! You did good, though with all these beautiful rooms! They are gorgeous and inviting. Feel better..xoxo

I hope you are feeling better soon. I get migraines as well and know how debilitating they can be. I think the designer for those photos is Erika from Urban Grace Interiors. I was actually looking at her portfolio earlier today. She designs beautiful rooms, I envy her talent.

I hope you feel better soon, Melaine. I suffer from migraines, too, so I sympathize with you. They are no fun. Take care.

You have my sympathy as well. I race for the Imitrex at the first sign that a migraine is starting. I've gotten better at recognizing the really early symptoms so that I don't often have the total 2 day wipe outs.

Some inspiring photos btw!

What a gorgeous, stately home!

And Melaine!!! Get to feeling better. Migraines stink, I have them, too. Sending you healing prayers, my friend!

That house was designed by Erika Powell. She is one of my favorite designers. Love her! Hope you feel better soon.

I hope you feel better. I get migraines too and I know how it can put you out of commission.

I love the green bench and the layout of pictures in the foyer above the bench. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful home isn't it? Do you happen to remember what issue it was? I'd love to source the paint on the plank walls. It seems like just the color I've been looking for.
