I saw her in concert a couple weeks ago. She has such a powerful voice and really funny too! She sang "I can't make you love me," by Bonnie Raitt...AMAZING!
Discovered her years ago on late night TV singing Chasing Pavement and knew she was going to be a big star. Just as I pulled up the internet on my computer I was singing this song LOUDLY! What do I see when I look up? Adele. She's amazing, beautiful & I sound fantastic singing her songs in my car when my radio is blasting......well, at least I think I sound fantastic! :-)
I hear ya! I watched this twice last night and woke up singing it this morning. When I just saw your post I was hoping that was who you were talking about! Great artist!!!
Wow I have given her cd to all my friends. I just drove my son to college a 6 hour trip total. That was the only cd I listened to the WHOLE trip. I would be belting out the songs ( thinking I sounded just like her) passing cars and trucks. They must have thought I was nuts!!! One and Only is my favorite -- but there is not a bad song on the album.
She is just a beautifully natural talent. How could anyone not shed a tear listening to that song? I do worry though about the glittery stuff falling down on her, I think she was worried too! She takes such big breaths she could have choked!
