When I grow up I want to be just like Maria.
Oh wait, she's younger than me.
Well, at any rate, when I grow up I want to take photos like Maria.
This girl has it all, would you not agree?
Someday I'll take a photography class......
And put pumpkins on chairs in the fields woods behind my house.
Someday I will have vintage European grain sacks all over my house.
Someday, yep, someday......
Love you Maria!

I was just on Maria's blog. The apples look great floating in her gorgeous bowl all lit up with candles... very nice!

Maria is beautiful inside and out, and such a talent to behold.

Melaine, my dear, I also wish to thank YOU!

Your blog is one of the first ten that I followed. One of your posts encouraged me to attend a little French flea market in Kirkland that enriched my world forever.

You graciously responded to my email inquiries.

One day we will meet at Ruffles and Rust Square!

Have a great day!

She makes it look so easy!
Oh, and she is quite a looker too.
If we were in high school I would have to say I hate her....LOL

Hello Savannah, I agree that Maria is a very talented lady. She is also very sweet. But, there have been many days when I read your posts and I wish that we lived closer. I don't live that far away from Maria so we see each other at shows and such. I wish that I could make it to your store and also to one of the shows that you sell at. I just wanted you to know. I have been one of your followers for a long time! Terry from The Vintage Bricoleur

Lovely Melanie, your photographs are just as uplifting and beautiful. You guys' pixie dust is just a different color, but magical nonetheless...

Thanks for sharing the magic ladies!

It's funny, we always want what is "greener" on the other side of the fence, but don't sell yourself short~ you are AWESOME too!!!! ;-)p.s. I am so excited, found alphabet blocks today to make a key holder! Only I got our intials (first letter of our names) instead of spelling out "keys." Will post about how it turns out when I finish it! Can't wait for R&R!!!!

Actually melanie, your photos look to me just equally beautiful.

Try high contrasting and a mid tone effect for that very whitewashed, bleached look, although I prefer photographs of things in their natural color and setting :)
