I saw this on Pinterest this morning and thought it was such a great simple solution!
If you have one of those gigantic builder mirrors over your bathroom vanity, don't rip it out!
Simply trim it out with inexpensive wood painted to match your decor.
I have seen this done "framing" the mirror, but never down the center.
Just be careful how you attach it, you will see any glue spills or other mistakes in the mirror.

What a great idea! Thanks for sharing it! :-)
When we remodeled our bath last year our contractor surprised us by framing our old mirror. I love it!
Hi Melaine-
Can you tell me where you found this on pinterest? I can't find it and really want to see more of this project. That, or do you have a link?
Thanks! Kelli
love this idea!! i have 3 bathrooms to redo and 1 of them has a gigantic mirror..great soultion : )
Thank you! I have one of those big ugly mirrors too.
that is stunning. pinning it :)
I've done this for myself and friends and clients , its quite easy to do , all you need to do is attach a filler strip to the perimeter of the wall around the mirror and use that to nail the trim to ,or even to just top and bottom , so simple , I will be doing something similar in my new house.
We are getting ready to redo my 30plus year old bathroom & have a large mirror just like that. I plan on reusing it & having our cabinet maker make me a wooden frame to match the new vanity. I may have to show him this idea!
Oh, I need to do this! I have the same huge plain mirror. Thanks!
great idea-going to pin it! :)
Some time could you share about how to rescue an old bathroom with tile up to the halfway point? I am in one fix right now - would love to redo my tiled bathrooms, working with the tile and not against it since it would cost an arm and a leg to rip out! Love the advice.
Can you tell me where you discovered this on pinterest? I can't discover it and really want to see more of this venture. That, or do you have a link?
I framed my mirror a few years ago just around the edges, but I love this so much more...thinking, thinking, thinking on how to convert what I did to this! ~Rosanne
love it
Hi lovely lady.

Thank you so much for this idea.
I did this just this weekend to three of my mirrors.
Once you trim the tiles off of the mesh it goes super quick.
I used the smaller glass tiles for a mosaic look and am absoutly in love with the end product.
It transforms the look of my bathrooms.
Thank you,
thank you.
