~do you juice?~

I love juicing and have found so many good recipes online.
I also like to just throw in a little of this and a little of that.
It's a good way for my kids to get their vegetables, and my husband and I, because we are not big vegetable eaters.
That's something I'd like to change~I'm working on it!
Before school I whipped up a quick juice for myself and the kids.

This one included lots of carrots, oranges, apples, and pineapple.
Very delicious!
I usually add spinach but was out today.
To this day though, this drink remains one of my favorites.
Do you have any good juicer or blender recipes?
I'd love to hear them!
xoxo

I've been looking at juicer's. Which one do you have and are you happy with it?

Today was kale, cucumber, 3 huge handfuls of spinach, ginger, frozen red grapes, parsley, celery and maybe a whole apple. Fruit if yummy, but the SUGAR! I'm like my juicer, but really have seen bigger benefits from my Vita-mix blender!

I'm about to start a juice fast, so this recipe was perfect timing :) If I discover any amazing recipes in the process I'll let you know.

I really like Giada's Rise and Shine juice--the ginger and lemon are so refreshing in the morning.

5 to 6 ounces baby spinach leaves, rinsed
2 apples, halved and cored
2 medium carrots, scrubbed
2 celery sticks
1/2 large lemon
One 2-inch piece ginger, peeled
Ice

I'm using the JK Powergrind Pro and love it. It also allows you to make you're own almond milk.

My husband and I had a purge in our kitchen over the weekend and cleared out all drawers and cabinets. From the back of one cabinet we came across a really nice brushed steel juicer neither of us knew we had nor could we rememeber buying. So to answer your question - yes, we are now going to juice!

This recipe looks great!

How did you convince your kids to drink up? My son looks at me like I've grown three heads when I ask him to drink some "juice". :)

That sounds yummy. I have a Breville as well, I also have a Vitamix when I want to make more of a smoothie texture, and get the fiber too. I love both of them.

I've been wanting a good juicer for quite some time, but I'm a little intimidated by the choices that are out there. I'll be looking into the brands mentioned here - thanks! :)

Love juicing, that's my breakfast every morning.

One beet, one Fuji apple and 4 carrots, delish!

One of my favorite juices is the beet/orange (1 medium-sized, peeled, raw red beet, cut in 4 to ease the blender's job, and a glass of fresh orange juice. Add some ice and blend it well. Couldn't be simpler than that). Also it goes well with some variations, like, adding a bit of peeled apple, or adding some pieces of pineapple to it, your imagination is the limit.

I've been wanting to try smoothies too, with protein powder but am unsure what is the best kind. I don't want any with a bunch of unnecessary fillers! I am always amazed what you come up with on your blog! You are so creative:)
