Here's a little 4th decor I whipped up for our dining room.
I LOVE the 4th of July, it's one of my favorite holidays!
Hope you can pull some inspiration from my photos, there are a lot of them.....
Our new bar cart got some fabric flags
and I even found sparkling blueberry juice at Trader Joes.
The hutch got a little makeover too.
I left everything mostly monochromatic, the only color being from the flags and the red apples.
The flowers are mock orange and they smell delicious!
I left on my usual grain sack table runner from Dreamy Whites,
The silverware holders started out as a belt I found at a thrift store.
I just cut 5" sections and wrapped around the silverware bundles
and secured on the back with a safety pin.
The napkins are actually just vintage ticking fabric I had, cut to size. I didn't even hem them, just left the edges raw and ironed them.
I just scored this vase at a thrift store, guess it was my lucky day!
Have you started decorating for the fourth yet?
I'm off to go soak up some of this sunshine!
xoxo

Love your red, white and blue. Great decor. Enjoy the sunshine and the lake. Hugs, Marty
I am in luv!!!
*Hangs head in shame* I have never decorated for the 4th. We usually hang our flag and do a cookout. Your post has inspired me to get busy!!! Tons of inspiration here.
Thanks. :-)I am now motivated to get my red, white and blue on.
Hugs, Gee
As a former nursing home and rehab employee I would have NEVER thought to use a gait belt for 4th of July decor. So creative!
Love! Teaching VBS this week. It is all I can do to survive day to day. LOL
Gorgeous! I love the 4th too!
Anything with a red, white and blue theme catches my eye...
All about the patriotic mood...Give me a front porch on a farm house, a flag blowing in the wind and a picket fence and that's what it's all about to me. Home sweet home.
Loved the images. Keep it up!
Beautiful room and table setting! I always love decorating for the 4th.
Wishing you a lovely night!
Sincerely,
Melinda
I love the fresh clean colors!

I enjoy decorating for the big 4th...in fact, the coke crate & flashcards I received from you years ago are two of my favorite items to use each year. As usual, I am inspired by your decor & love to update my home by copying you ;) but can we discuss your white oval platters??!!?? Are they vintage? My goodness gracious they are divine...I am obsessed!!!! Thanks in advance for the info! Xoxo

OHHH I love it!!! I have not started decorating for the 4th yet... but am totally inspired now!! I love how you used just enough of the red white and blue to make it stand out, but it's calm and not overboard :) Great job!! ~Bre
I can't decide what I love best about all these details! From the hutch to the table to the belts.. I am amazed. You're so talented!
SOOO many great ideas here. I love the Fourth of July, too. We always have a party.
Perfect girl!!! Just a touch and it comes alive...,

oh my goodness...so much inspiration.
I LOVE the 4th, too, but I haven't pulled out anything yet.
We leave for vacation in two days, so I guess I'll pull all my red, white and blue out when we get back.
Yours looks fabulous!
As always- beautiful!
Love this! I really like the use of the belt!!~~Angela
