Our little guest bathroom......
well, it probably needs a major gut job.
But, no time for that right now, so I decided to
spruce it up with new paint and a few new accessories.
I bought this rug, this shower curtain, and a few paint by numbers.
I accessorized with vintage silver plate containers and trays.
The mirror is from Target and can be found here.
Don't you just love before and afters?
The paint before was Seal by Martha Stewart with some old cream on the bottom that looked dirty.
We used to have a pedestal sink in here which I liked, but opted for a cabinet for more storage.
This one is from Lowes, and you can find it here.
I decided to paint the walls in Martha Stewarts Glass Of Milk. Then I painstakingly taped off stripes.
After I made sure the tape was on there really good, I painted over the top with Graphite by Ben Moore, the same color as our bedroom.
I am really enjoying the stripes~I think it was well worth the time it took to tape off!
Hope you like!
xoxo

That is beautiful!! Where did you find those towels??? My niece has a new "first" appartment and those would be an amazing Christmas present for my sweet girl.

..... Forgot to ask where did you find those adorable clips the pictures are hung with??? GENIOUS!!!
I do love the stripped wall and love the dark gray, it is so beautiful..so sharp and chic..
I don't like it I LOVE it! :) Makes a huge difference and adds so much character. Excellent work. Blessings~Kimberly
Love the stripes! Oh, I don't know if I would have the patience:)
I too love it all. All the little accessories are nice too! Love the towel rack.
Where did you get the paint by numbers and the hooks you used to hang them with? The changes are amazing!!
i'm about to re-do my husband's bathroom which hasn't been updated in 9 years! a record for me!! i'm doing it in gray and white and have been considering "seal" or "graphite" after seeing it in your house. I love the old silver pieces you've used on the vanity...the whole bathroom looks wonderful!
It looks amazing! I love that you varied the stripes as well.
OMG I'm in love!!! Looks like a Ralph Lauren ad!
So fun, Melaine! Love this color...similar to Iron Ore from Sherwin! I am in the middle of some wall work over here myself with similar colors! In love with all grays right now! Have an awesome week! Hugs...-Kennesha
Love the stripes....you are right they must have been a pain:) The whole space is a great makeover....
Love it!!
Great job
Love it!! You are so patient to tape off all those stripes! Want to come do it again at my place?!
Looks fantastic. I love the horse prints - bringing the outdoors inside. Conversely, the dark colors seem to brighten the bathroom up and I love the stripes!!
What a cool idea! I love the stripes and the paint-by-numbers are perfect on those clips. Beautiful.
Love it! What a difference some stripes can make. Love the paint by numbers.
The stripes are beautiful! I love the art hung with the clips too!
thank you so much for all the compliments! The clips to hang the paint by numbers I got at a flea market in California. The deer paint by number is from a local antique shop {m and m} and the horse one was just a steal at the goodwill {$5.99!}
The towels are from TJ Maxx, have seen them at Marshalls as well! Hope that answered everyones questions! xoxo
Fabulous makeover, Melaine. I especially love the paint by number art against the graphic stripes. ~Sarah
