Week 2 of the one room challenge.
Lots going on in my world right now, and not to mention that I was gone 3 days last week at camp with my son. So, not too much happened, but I will share what did.
This wallpaper will be going in this little niche.
It has been ordered and will be installed as soon as the counters are in.
The granite is coming out and being replaced but I haven't decided with what yet…..
I painted the pantry doors with a favorite green paint.
I had it mixed up in 2007, and it has remained my favorite grey/green.
{I wish I had the color for you all.
I will give the formula at the end of the ORC if anyone is interested}
We also got a large 5 burner gas cook top!
We hired someone to come in and hook up gas, and my husband cut the hole bigger
in the granite to fit it in.
It has a pop of fan and it has made cooking so much more fun.
We also had a new oven and dishwasher installed.
We saved a ton buy buying "seconds"
I got 2 of these to hang over the island.
{sources will be listed on the last day of the challenge}
The problem is, we only have one outlet at the ceiling and with the skylight there isn't room for another, so we are getting crafty with pipe…….
And finally, this fabric will be turned into new bar stool cushions.
By next week I hope to have the cabinets painted and hopefully counter tops ordered.

Wow! That grey/green color is just fabulous, as are the above island fixtures. We can't wait to see how your kitchen progresses!
That is such a perfect color! I am interested in the formula for future reference. Its so hard to come by that perfect grey. And I'm all about gray now. That wallpaper is so perfect. I can't wait to see it up.
That wallpaper is perfect for your kitchen! And I adore your cabinet color: so rich.
I love the wallpaper!! I cannot wait to see what you choose to replace the granite... have you considered marble? We have Imperial Danby, and love it!

Loving the wallpaper!! So cute! I am so excited to see everything completed!!!
I love it so far!!!
That nook is going to be adorable! Loving the paper.
Gorgeous! That paint color looks a lot like French Grey Linen which is an old (maybe discontinued) SW or BM color. Just an idea in case it is indeed a match or helpful for finding a formula. Thanks for all of the great ideas!
Woah girl, I think you did a lot!! I'm completely in love with your wallpaper and lighting! Have fun this week! :)
That wallpaper is an all time favorite....you can't go wrong!
LOVE the grey green color! Yes, please share at the end of ORC! The light fixtures will be a great fit! It's refreshing to know that even the pro's have to juggle things with kids and travel. :)
I have massive kitchen envy right now! Can't wait to see everything. That cook top! That paper!! New appliances. Gah. Love.
Okay, I'm dying. First, I love the wallpaper. Such a classic. And the lighting is killer. I'm doing my kitchen, as well, but with far more limitations lol. I'd love to trade places!!
