~an eclectic inspiring home~

Once the holiday decorations come down, I am always left with a blank slate and sometimes get the urge to try something new.
This gets me usually stalking Pinterest all hours of the night, or hopping around from blog to blog.
I came across this eclectic home, and while it's not the look I am after, I was drawn to it somehow.
Curious to see what you think.

The home looks peaceful. Everything with a purpose, filled with items that have memories of things that are truly loved.

very bohemian chic. I'd love to have a 2nd home by the lake just to try my hand at decorating like this. Love the high ceilings, fireplaces and breakfast nook!

I love how relaxed a home like this makes one feel...nothing so important that you couldn't put your feet up and exhale.

Love the boho feel, it adds a bit of youthfulness to life and living it.

happy new year!

I like it partly because I had painted all my inside woodwork the same gray as their outside trimwork. Also love the wood/ texture here and there inside the house and the plank walls. Definitely feels like a home!

I think it's got character and is unique. It looks like their own eclectic style! which I love myself and individualism and not what's new and hip.

I dont usually like eclectic or boho...too hectic for me, but I do like this home. Feels unique and 'homey'.

I really like this...but this is my style. My whole house is a mixture of vintage and new -including the vintage turquoise typewriter in my office!

Looks a bit bohemian and I love it! xoxo, Alexandra

Not my style but it does look like it has been lovingly curated and that, to me, is what makes a home.

I think the Boho feel seems relaxed, welcoming and do-able, and a look you could make all your own very easily! All the best, Rié

Very relaxed to the point of being a bit run down. Don't get me wrong, I love a little chippy paint but this house looks in disrepair. Almost like a beach cottage that has seen the wear of the ocean air and not been kept up.
