It's no secret that I love candles.
I think they are the easiest way to freshen up any room and add that bit of ambiance.
No matter the time of year, or the time of day, I always have a candle burning.
Here are my own personal tips for decorating with candles in different rooms of your home.
Probably the bedroom is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of candles.
Candles are romantic and add that warm glow at night.
I like to style my night tables with lots of candles, fresh flowers, framed photos, books, and of course a reading light.
I like to keep the top of my night tables clutter free, and the more candles the merrier.
These come in the nicest containers, which by the way, can be reused when the candles are spent.
I also like to vary them in heights, so adding one like this to a pile of books adds interest.
The bathroom is an obvious place also to display and burn candles.
I also like to use diffusers in the bathroom, so it smells good even when a candle isn't burning.
Grouping candles in a tray with your personal items is a simple way to achieve a great look.
When styling a coffee table I like to use a tray as well.
Books, flowers, even branches, and of course a candle or two.
And lastly, one place you might not think to burn candles is the kitchen.
But why not?
Again, adding them to a tray with all your other kitchen essentials is a great way to do this.
I like to keep neutral with my candles because I have pretty neutral decor and I want them to blend in. However, adding pops of color with candles is fun too!
