~before & after of a clients home~

I had a ton of fun working on this home, and I think you will agree that the before and afters are quite dramatic!
I will continue to work on other rooms in this home, but for now, you will see the before and after photos of the entry, the dining room, and the living room.

The homeowner wanted a more pulled together look and something that would work well for their family of four.

Let's start with my favorite, the living room:

Sofa, local, similar here

Black and white artwork here, here, here & here

leather coffee table, homeowners similar here

Whale and other shelf items are all from HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, thrift stores, or homeowners collection.

Onto the entry.
This space just needed a little cleaning up and a bigger table.

And finally, the dining room.
It got a fresh coat of Benjamin Moore, Chelsea Gray.

I found this cabinet at a thrift store for $49.00!
A coat of Annie Sloan chalk paint in Old White made it look brand new.
The homeowner painted this herself and it turned out great!

Monogram plaque on wall started out as this

I hope you enjoyed this before and after as much as I did putting it all together, and I hope you can draw some inspiration from it!

xoxo

Excellent work! This is such a splendid transformation. I love the new color of the house. And that cabinet doesn't even look second-hand.

Love this makeover. The dining room is stunning with the paint changes. Such a simple thing making a huge difference. But I have to say the living room is my favorite. So relaxed but put together.

I love before/after photos of makeovers, sponging up every little detail in awe. You did a wonderful job. I'm tempted to paint my walnut corner cupboard that same shade. It's in a small dining room that I painted pale gray with touches of cream and gray accents, and it seems very out of place. As I envision it in my mind, it would look so much "happier."

Love your blog and all that you share with your readers.

A beautiful transformation ! Looks modern and fresh, but inviting and comfortable. I love it ! The living area is so brightened and light - may I ask the color of the wall paint in the living room and front entry area ?
Also - love the dining room wall color...
