~new drapes for the master bedroom~

I am constantly looking for ways to improve our home, to give it that extra little bit
 of something special.
Whether it be the kitchen, the bedrooms, or the living room, adding that perfect new addition always feels so good.

I wanted to share with you today a new to me company that sells customizable drapes that are very high quality.
Introducing Barn and Willow.

They offer luxury products without the unfair markups.
Barn and Willow just released a new customization portion on their website where you can design and use their auto calculate function to get an instant quote for custom drapery! How cool is that. It's easy to use and takes the hassle out of measuring.
To view or try it out  please go here.

They have also just launched a unique program called "TRY BEFORE YOU BUY"
That allows customers to hang full sized curtains in their homes as they are going through the decision making process of ordering drapes.
In addition, you can also order as many sample panels as you with at only $10 each to keep for up to 7 days! Returning it is easy - you simply drop it in the mail with the pre-paid shipping label they provide. One you place your order, the $10 cost of trying out the sample panel is refunded to you.
This is a unique program to Barn and Willow.

Not sure about color? I wasn't either, so I ordered 5 free swatches which made my decision easier as well. It was nice to be able to hold the swatches up to my existing bedding to see what looked best.
You can order up to 5 free swatches here.

Now, the drapes I had were not horrible, but they were nothing extraordinary, very plain jane, and they hid a dark secret.

They were way too short!

I got the belgian  flax linen in optic white because it went perfectly with my white linen sheets and duvet.

Now they are the correct length and the gorgeous linen material hangs so perfectly, I love them!

And if inquiring minds want to know, the juju hat is from here.
Bamboo blinds from here.
Kelly Wearstler pillow from here.
All the other bedding and pillows from Restoration Hardware.

xoxo

Since spring has come the sun seems really bright in the early mornings. New drapes would help tone it to sooth the intensity.

I'm intrigued by Barn and Willow, but disappointed that I was required to enter my email address before I could try out their website. I did not enter it as I just don't want another daily email I have to delete.

@Mary Deckert: Hi Mary! You don't need to enter your email to browse, but we do request that you enter your email when you begin customizing your draperies. That way, you can access it later under the "My Designs" tab.
