~a few new items on our deck~

Friday I shared with you our deck makeover sponsored by Joss and Main and partnered by Country Living.

Today I wanted to share with you a few other new items on the deck and tell you why I love them so much.

Besides the new furniture we updated a few other things.

These planters are one of my new favorite things.

They are big, sturdy, substantial, and are just downright cool.

The 2 flanking the French doors are the medium size.

I planted boxwood topiaries in them and I sure hope I can keep them alive!

I really like how it frames the back door here.

This one in the corner is the small size.

It holds jasmine and covers up our hot tub outlet.

I'm crazy about patina so I love the fact that they naturally will rust.

{hot tub towels can be found here, and they wash and dry beautifully and are really absorbent!}

I also got another throw bed from HedgeHouse USA.

I realized size wise they fit my lounge chairs perfectly.

And oh my goodness, I don't ever want to leave these spots!

So, so, so comfortable, and what makes them even better is the matching pillows.

They are so soft and I feel like I am living in pure luxury when I sit there.

Like I need a cabana boy to bring me fruity drinks with umbrellas!

I put a couple of the turkish "hot tub" towels on the ends just for looks.

They act as mini lightweight blankets too if the wind picks up.

Doesn't this make you want to take a nap? Seriously!

These wood chairs I got years ago at a garage sale, but I just got the ceramic stool at HomeGoods.

It works as a perfect little side table for a drink, or in this case, a plant.

And finally, when you live on a lake and the weather is warm, you get friends

 you didn't even knew you had.

So it's always a good idea to have extra towels on hand for those guests that do not bring their own.

Rolled up in a basket next to the hot tub is the perfect spot, as someone could grab one getting out, or on their way down to the lake.

I got these ones at Big Lots. They were a great price and the colors matched well.

Big Lots is a great place to find discounted summer and patio items.

They had a ton of cute outdoor games too.
