~our trip to Nashville~

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you will have already seen some of these photos.

My husband and I took off for our 20th wedding anniversary and had the best time in the friendliest state. Seriously, everyone was so so nice!

We stayed at the Omni hotel which I definitely recommend.
It was within walking distance to a lot of shops, Broadway ,{which I will get to} and it had a great rooftop pool and spa, as well as a great gym.

Not to mention the restaurants in the hotel, Kitchen Notes being my favorite.
If you are there on a Sunday, go for the brunch, just make sure you are very hungry!
They also had the best Moscow Mules, if you like them.
The decor was fabulous, the service outstanding, and the decor, well, take a look!
That plate wall, the sconces, the chandeliers, the chairs.....

Broadway is right around the corner within walking distance.
This is a great time to go bar hopping and hear some great country music. Live bands at each stop, even if you aren't a drinker, go anyway just for the lively atmosphere!
It is also a great time to buy souvenirs and people watch.
Broadway reminded me a little of Las Vegas with a country flair. Lots of neon and loud music.
Tootsies bar was my favorite, and of course, The Savannah Candy Kitchen.

If the nightlife isn't for you, there is plenty of shopping.
My favorite place to shop was in Franklin. Not far from Nashville this little town has great boutiques and fabulous places to eat.

Drive the backroads in Franklin and you will see plenty of drool worthy homes and land.

Also stop by Leiper's Fork near Franklin.
It has a population of about 650 and is home to Pucketts Grocery, which is a must see, as well as some cute galleries and antique shops.

Also in Franklin is a great shopping mall called The Factory.
Cute cute shops and the best donuts at Five Daughters Bakery.

If you watch American Pickers you will want to go visit Antique Archeology and all the cute shops surrounding it. It is in a old brick automobile factory that has so much history.
It was so fun to see Frank and Mikes picks in their shop!

Some other fun places to go:
Reese Witherspoons Draper James shop.
Cute, cute, cute!

Another fun store down the street is Whites Mercantile, and Imogene Willie.

We ate at so many good restaurants.
I don't remember the name of them all, but here are a few:

Five Daughters Bakery
&
Bobs Steak & Chop House

We could have spent longer there and are definitely planning a trip back.
But, for those of you who have asked for our feedback, I hope you found this helpful!

xoxo

Your trip looks like it was so much fun. I wish my family could have stayed longer - maybe I will get lucky and Noah will choose to go to college there :) I'm thinking of going back soon with my mom so thank you for all the good spots to check out. I just did a post on Kitchen Notes with details on their tableware. I loved it!

I love that area of Tennessee and enjoyed seeing the stops you made along the way. Next time we make a trip there, I'm for sure going to stop in at The Factory and the other restaurants you mentioned.
