~pie shooters with free printable labels~

Let's face it, the holiday season is full of food, and lots of it.
Big heavy meals, leftovers, and tons of yummy desserts.

When you are served with a plethora of desserts after a big meal, it's a hard choice to decide what to have.
Take pie for an example. It's tough deciding which kind to choose. So why not have a little of each?
I think this idea is so fun and so practical!

Joining in from Kristen at Ella Claire Inspired and her wonderful group of bloggers and their free holiday printables.

Here is what I did {super easy and extremely inexpensive}

I bought 24 shot glasses and 24 little silver forks at the Dollar Tree.

Scoop various pies into the shot glasses making sure to get equal parts filling and crust.
Place them on a pedestal or cute tray and label them with my free printable labels at the end of this post. You can refrigerate them until ready to serve.
Right before serving, top with whipped cream.

Printing these on cardstock is  good idea, but not necessary.
I used a paper cutter to cut them, then simply fold over to form a "tent"
You can go one step further and print on colored cardstock to match your dishes, napkins, etc.
Or, use colorful scrapbooking paper to back them. Simply cut it a bit bigger than your label and glue together before folding.

Save these images to your computer, and print when you are ready!
{I accidentally made 2 pumpkin, I must really like pumpkin pie!}

This is a great idea. A friend and I were just saying how much we like it when restaurants have shooters for dessert...just the right amount. Love your blog-read it every morning with my cup of coffee !!

I think that is the sweetest (pun intended) ever. I always want to try all the different desserts but I can't eat them all and I can't waste them. This is absolutely perfect. Thank you for sharing.
