~fall in the dining room~

Our dining room is a room that is always fun to add fall touches too.
It has a wall of windows and overlooks all the trees as they are changing colors.
I picked a few branches from one of them and put them in a big white urn.

I scattered some acorns from here on the white cowhide for a bit of fall color.

I worked in 2 blankets as table runners to go with my new napkins
Aren't these napkins fabulous?
Monograms are my favorite and the crisp white on the charcoal napkins is perfection.
I had her fold them in a pocket fold before monogramming so I could add silverware, or a little menu or place card, or even a little sprig of something or a flower.

Simple, neutral, with bits of fall.

Could you do a demonstration of how to do the pocket fold? The napkins look awesome.

1. Lay napkin out on a flat surface and fold in half vertically making sure all the corners are aligned.

2. Fold the bottom half of the napkin up.

3. Flip and fold to the middle.

4. Tuck corner between folds.

5. Flip the napkin and place utensils.

Hope that helps! There's also good you tube videos that show how! :)
