easy bruschetta recipe

This easy bruschetta recipe is so easy and a good one to keep in mind with the holidays approaching.
Any recipe that looks fancy, but is super simple to make, count me in.
This bruschetta is colorful, tasty, and is simple to whip up.


Be sure to pin these because these would be so pretty at Christmas when you are going to all those parties.



My friend gave me jars of pickled beets and I have been using them on everything. I love beets, and I love goat cheese, the combination is so good. This is such an easy bruschetta recipe.

Easy Beet & Goat Cheese Bruschetta

ingredients:


  • 1 loaf baguette sliced on diagonal
  • 1 jar pickled beets {or beets of your choice}
  • 1 T. olive oil
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 4 ounces goat cheese
  • basil for garnish

instructions


  1. After slicing your baguette, brush pieces with olive oil. Brown them under the broiler watching carefully. Remove to a wire rack to let cool.

    Mix 4 oz. cream cheese and 4 oz. goat cheese. 

    Place a good sized dollop on each bread slice leaving an area in the center for the beets.

    Add the desired amount of beets, and garnish with fresh basil.
