pantry makeover number 45992737489

When I woke up yesterday morning, I did not foresee a pantry overhaul taking up most of my afternoon. But after a grocery stop at Trader Joe's, I took one look and knew it had to be done.

It was looking a bit sad, the food needed to be rotated and things were thrown in baskets where you couldn't see the bottom.

I pulled everything out, wiped down the shelves, tossing old expired foods, and made a quick list of items in need.

My first stop was World Market where I got these and these.

Then I hit the thrift store to find all the organization tubs, baskets, bins, jars, etc. My only criteria, is that it had to be white.

When I got home I rummaged through my cupboard where I house all my white dishes, bowls, and containers, and found a few more to use in the pantry.

The lasagna pans worked really well for storing protein bars! My husband is super exited he doesn't have to dig for his favorite kind. I also used them for other kid snacks.

Placing items on cake stands isn't really necessary, but it helped in brightening up the space, and if you have the room, why not?!

I tried to keep the better looking foods {did you know there was such a thing?} visible, and the canned goods and junk food in baskets.

It just so happened that all my paper straws, paper plates, napkins, and compostable silverware are all white too!

A bunch of items like nuts and chocolate chips, are stored in wide mouth mason jars with cute white lids. I discovered these lids a couple weeks ago and I can't get enough.

I labeled the tops of them, along with other items in jars, with my fun label maker.

I always love to get things organized and this pantry makes me smile now. I actually want to leave the doors open on it to see all the prettyness!

Isn't this knife set cute? It's on sale right now too!

If you'd like to see previous posts I have done on my pantry, {like I said, this is pantry makeover number 45992737489} you can go here to read about the barn doors, a quick peek here, and my organizing essentials post here.

After I was done organizing and had everything back in, I remembered 3 little white bunny heads that I picked up on Targets clearance a while ago. I had no use for them, but I love bunnies, so I hung them up and I love how they look! Totally unexpected, but they are so sweet.

I hope this encourages you to clean out a cupboard, pantry, or closet, and in a short while, you can go from cluttered to clean and organized!

I was also able to fill a paper grocery bag with items to donate to the goodwill so that is always a bonus too. Remember that your trash might be someone else's treasure!
