Friday favorites

Hello and cheers to the weekend!

This week has been crazy busy for me.  Sometimes I feel like I am running in circles, and this weeks schedule has kept me on my toes.

2 more weeks of summer for us {because I gauge summer on when the kids go back to school}

Cody goes back beginning of September and Savannah goes back mid September! Both my babies will be juniors, how can that be!

I have been working on a few projects around the house. One is our basement which I touched on a tiny bit, but will be showing you more shortly. I painted the floor white and it is looking so much happier! So fresh, clean, and light filled finally!

I have also been busy working on some posts for fall, yes fall! My most favorite time of the year.
I just love it when the leaves turn and the air is crisp. It is my favorite time of year to work in the yard and do projects outdoors.

Ok, onto some favorites I found this week. I have been sourcing out items for my "dream bedroom" although everything I find seems to come with a high price tag. Ugh. I have learned over the years though that if you really love something, you should just go for it because it will be something you have for a long long time.

I really love this floor lamp. I touched on doing floor lamps next to the bed instead of table lamps in one of my posts, and I think these would be stunning.

And then I found this beauty and I think I might have to get it for the foot of Savannah's bed! I just need to measure and make sure it is long enough. I have always wanted one of these and the price seems too good to be true!

Look how crazy good this one looks over at The House Of Silver Lining.
I love Shauna's house so much, every inch.

I scored a huge {3'tall} vase at Goodwill a few days ago and I ordered these to put in them. I am hoping they come in time for some of my fall posts!

I also got 3 new coffee table books. This one, which really says a lot about me, this one, and this one.

This cake stand would be a stunner for the holiday season. I think it would even be great on a shelf with a glass dome and a little Christmas scene inside. It's never too early to think about Christmas!

This picture is serving as so much inspiration for me. We have a spot in our basement just like this and I am trying to find just the right size dog kennels to fit there. Our dogs LOVE their kennels. They take naps in them and sleep in them at night. We never even shut the doors, they just like their little cozy spots.

These would make the perfect spots for them to rest, and would go great with our decor!

This rabbit hutch would also fit perfectly in there though!

Alright I am off to go start my day, I hope you have a great one and a fun weekend as well!
