no bake mini pies

Today I am joining a group of friends who are sharing all of our DIY projects using plaid, flannels, or sweaters, to create fun fall projects.

I wanted to elaborate on these cute little mini pies that I shared last year.

I've got a lot of questions on how to create these little cuties, and I am here to answer them all.

The most important thing about this whole setup, is just how easy it is too recreate.

That is in huge part to the fact that these cute little pies are not homemade, they are store bought, and boy are they cheap! Literally 50 cents. At that price you can get one of every flavor, for every guests tastes.

While you are there baking buying your pies, you'll want to pick up a men's flannel shirt in the largest size possible. I say that because you want the most material to work with.

Once you get everything home, rip strips of the flannel shirt into 1/2" to 1" wide pieces. Cut each piece to the appropriate length and tie around each pie like a present.

Tuck in a little wooden fork and you are done! The presentation is so cute and no one will know you didn't spend all day baking!

You can group them on a tray like I did here, or stack them on cake plates and let that be your centerpiece. Line them on a long cutting board down the center of a table. Place individual pieces on each guests place setting. There are so many cute ways to use these pies.
