Thank you Kristen for organizing this fun seasonal tour. Today we are all talking fall decor in our family rooms.
Family rooms are a great room to add that cozy fall factor in.
I don't know about you, but our family room gets used a ton. Our couch is a particularly deep one making it the perfect spot to take a nap by the fire.
Here are a few ways I added a touch of fall into our family room, without being too literal.
To make this space extra cozy, I layered a fuzzy sheepskin on the couch.
It takes the coziness factor up a level and makes me want to take naps everyday.
It also doubles as a protectant and keeps the off white sofa looking new. Win, win!
I added plenty of blankets to curl up with, and I swapped out summery pillows for darker ones.
I simplified the coffee table decor and kept it to one big statement bowl filled with recycled glass balls.
I think I will add a few mini white pumpkins in here as we get closer to October.

My growing collection for coffee table books has spilled over onto the floor. I keep some of my favorite black and white ones neatly stacked under the coffee table. I will do a post soon on some of my favorites.
I've been contemplating swapping out the rug for a creamy colored big soft area rug for fall and winter, but I really love my white cowhides.
What do you think?
I love the color of eucalyptus for fall. I added in some white roses and placed them in an old crock for an easy floral arrangement.
Let's take a peek into some more fall family rooms. Click on any of the links below to see how my friends are decorating for the season.
