fall in the Pacific Northwest

Fall in the Pacific Northwest is just breathtaking.

We moved to Woodinville Washington {about 20 miles north of Seattle} when I was 5,  just in time to start Kindergarten.

My parents still live in the same house, and we only live about 15 minutes from them on Crystal Lake.

I am in awe of the sunsets we get here at the lake. The sky reflects on the water making it appear bright pink, purple, or orange.

My neighbor and friend Beth took these photos from her beach, so beautiful.

One of my favorite things to do this time of year is drive around with my pumpkin spice latte, camera next to me, and take pictures of nature.

I set out to do just that, and then to show you all the beautiful colors captured.

But then I thought maybe you want to see things other than leaves and trees!

If you are like me, you like seeing other peoples homes and their yards.

So, I hopped in my car, and went on a drive around our town taking pictures of homes that I love. Most are near the area I grew up. Some are still under construction, but I love them all, and I hope you do too!

Oh, and I couldn't help throwing in some beautiful nature pictures too-enjoy!

Did you notice the giant lawn chess game below?

Pampas grass everywhere!
I so wanted to pull over and cut some.

The house above and the house below are right next to each other.
I had a friend in elementary school who lived in the one below many years ago. I spent many days and nights in that beautiful home.

The house below is between my parents house and our home. It's been under construction for a while now and every time I drive by it I slow down and get a picture. I can't wait to see what it looks like completed!

The picture below is the road I take to go to Home Depot. Great marketing Home Depot :)

This horse was too cute. He looked like he was advertising for this realty company.

Below is the home I grew up in, my parents house. They have this STUNNER of a tree. I remember when they planted it, now it's bigger than the house in comparison!

This home below is also under construction and is serving inspiration for a home we are currently working on. The modern farmhouse aesthetic is spot on.

Back home to Crystal Lake.

I hope you had fun taking a peek into some of my favorites in our city.

Wow the homes there are all beautiful, and I love seeing all the fall colors. I've never been to Washington before the furthest north I've been on that coast is Northern California, I just may have to venture a little further north next time.

I visited Tacoma Washington as a teenager. Such a beautiful place to live. I love all your photos. It was like going on a house tour while still sitting in the comfort of home. Thanks!

So pretty, Melaine! I love the architecture and nature. The horses, the trees, the homes - it looks like scenes from a movie!
