I decided this year to decorate the tree in all white ornaments. All different shapes, sizes, and textures. I used a lot of white decor in the surrounding areas, so it all coordinates nicely.
Here are the ornaments I used on our tree:
white stars
swans
polar bears
sparkly round balls
house ornaments {similar}
pom pom garland
It can be so dreary outside this time of year in the Pacific Northwest, so adding a bunch of white and tons of lights really helps the inside remain a happy cheerful place!
We get white swans on our lake this time of year, so these ornaments are a nod to that. Besides that, they are just so cute and fluffy!
Instead of rushing out and buying a new tree skirt, I am going to cover up the base with presents that I have already wrapped.
The rest of the room was given a few white Christmas touches as well.
I filled my favorite marble bowl with more complimentary ornaments and placed on a stack of books.
Next to that, I filled a white tray with my favorite marble tic tac toe game {perfect for when company comes over, also makes a great hostess gift I might add} a white tree from here, a candle, and some marble coasters.
And in my opinion, a faux fur blanket is a must to curl up by the fire and watch all those Christmas specials!
I hope you enjoyed this peek into our living room with our white decor and Christmas tree!
Now, look at these stunning trees below for even more inspiration!
