a glamorous Christmas home

This is the second year in a row that I have had the privilege to help decorate this beautiful home for Christmas.

This house is so beautiful, every time I go there I am in awe of it's beauty. All the creamy whites and grey are so pretty, it is just such a serene home.

The families stockings hang in the living room which you see when you walk in the front door.

I can almost hear the Christmas songs coming from that gorgeous piano.

You will not find any red or green in this house, just beautiful neutrals.

I fell in love with this acrylic nutcracker and knew it would be perfect in this home.

Yesterday I showed you how to make this ornament box that sits on the entry table below. I found the urn at HomeGoods, but here is a similar one.

The formal dining room has a simple runner and we filled it with various glass trees. Some light up which looks so pretty at night.

I also added simple crystal candle holders to the mix with ivory pine scented tapers.

This sweet little deer family is perfect in the corner.

Ok, I might have lied about the red. I did add a bit of color in here with pomegranates.
The color is more pink than red and the pop of color along with the fresh cedar branches look great with the crystal decanters.

I found them all on Amazon.

Note that they don't even need liquids in them. They are like an art piece on their own.

In the informal dining area off the kitchen I created a garland by pieces together greenery, faux pinecones, real seeded eucalyptus, and 2 different kinds of ribbon.

Trader Joes has great natural wreaths, so using command hooks I hung four from the doors in the family room.

Again, I used the same ribbon to tie simple bows on each one.

I added this great Icelandic sheepskin throw to cozy up the space.

The "family" tree sits in the corner with all the families favorite keepsake ornaments.

This nativity scene is so sweet.

Above the tv I added wood bead garland and a few large gold and silver ornaments the homeowner had.

A silver bowl filled with clementines is all this little corner needed in the kitchen.

I set up a hot cocoa station in the corner for her 4 adorable kids.

In the hallway upstairs I added a beautiful glass pedestal bowl to the book stack and filled it with  mercury glass ornaments and glass ornaments.

A huge thank you to my friend Kim for opening up her home for all of you to see!

I am sure you find it just as gorgeous as I do!

xoxo
