I don't know about you, but I am so ready for sunnier days.
Spring also means fun Easter projects, Spring crafts, some gardening and outdoor spaces too.
Today I want to show you how to create an Easter dessert board. This is so easy because there is no baking involved!
You can pick everything up at the grocery store {I got everything at Walmart} and put this together in a matter of minutes.
I used:
Jelly beans
Mini vanilla cupcakes
Donut holes
Nilla wafters
Vanille wafers
Strawberry wafers
Chocolate eggs
Strawberry shaped marshmallows
Peach shaped marshmallows
Easter colored M & M's
Easter malt candies
I used this round board to put everything together.
I also used a porcelain berry box for the strawberry marshmallows. Using containers like this elevates the look of the board and keeps it from looking bland. If you use small containers it helps to break things up and keeps things like jelly beans from rolling off your tray.
Another thing to keep in mind when creating your dessert board is color, shape, and texture.
Make sure all your candies and cookies have a variety of colors and textures. And keep in mind the holiday, so think pastels and muted colors. Red licorice for example would not look aesthetically pleasing on this tray!
Besides the candy aisle, shop in your bakery section for donuts and cakes.
One other fun thing you can do is add in some non food items like I did with these velvet carrots and strawberries. These fun carrots and strawberries are from LoveFeast.
And it is your lucky day because they are offering 15% off with promo code: 20MSS15
This code is good through April 2020.
The Easter holiday is such a fun time to get creative with food, and especially desserts.

Happy baking, decorating, and creating!
