best roasted brussels sprouts recipe

I used to not like brussels sprouts. The only thing was, I had never tried them. 

I think if they are cooked the right way, they are delicious! 

So if you have never tried them, give this recipe a shot and see if it changes your mind

If you love brussels sprouts, I hope you think this is the best roasted Brussels sprouts recipe too!

I will admit, I do love them made with bacon, but this recipe is a lot healthier and just as good.



The good news is that these are easy to make and quick if you are in a pinch for a great side dish.

ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS WITH MAPLE BALSAMIC GLAZE

Ingredients:

  • cooking spray
  • 2 pound(s), trimmed Brussels sprouts
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2¼ tsp, divided salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp  pure maple syrup

How to cook ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS WITH MAPLE BALSAMIC GLAZE

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Coat a large nonstick baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. Slice Brussels sprouts in half, if large; place on prepared baking sheet. Add oil, 2 teaspoons salt and pepper; toss well to coat. Roast, stirring and rotating pan halfway through cooking, about 20 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, combine vinegar, maple syrup and remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt in a small saucepan; set over medium-high heat. Boil, stirring frequently, until thick and syrupy, about 3 minutes.
  4. Spoon Brussels sprouts into a serving dish; drizzle with syrup mixture just before serving. Yields about a heaping 3/4 cup per serving.
