Fourth of July DIY decor & food ideas

Here are some fun and easy ideas that you can do yourself for the holiday weekend!

To create this garland simply sew {or glue on} mini flags to rope or bias tape.

Instead of serving trays, use old red coke or pepsi crates for a festive touch.

Simply plant flags in your flower pots or window boxes! The more the merrier.

Set a table, indoors or out, with red white and blue.
Place large white hydrangea blooms, or something similar in a large glass vase, then add a few more flags.

Make this cute holder for your fireworks by following the instructions in this post.

Having a party and need an easy way to let people know where the different fun is? Make some directional signs! Click here to see how.

If you have extra fabric and or lace laying around, you might want to make this cute flag. Click here for the easy DIY.

If you have any vase or pot that is blue and white, you can make this cute centerpiece! Fill your container with styrofoam and top it with moss. Then just poke the flags into the styrofoam.

Create an easy red, white, and blue charcuterie board for your family and or guests.
The fun thing on this is the star shaped cheese I made using these cookie cutters.

And finally, buy store bought mini cupcakes and place them on a tiered stand  {I love this one} breaking them up with strawberries and blueberries for those that don't have quite the sweet tooth.

I hope this gets you inspired for the holiday and gives you some good ideas on how to decorate and prepare for it!

xoxo, Melaine
