Keto triple berry crisp

If you love a good crisp like I do, you'll want to try this one. Even if you aren't following the Keto diet, it is still a very good and doesn't leave you feeling full or bloated like some carby foods tend to do.

Keto Triple Berry Crisp

  • Cooking spray
  • 1 {6-oz.} package raspberries
  • 1 {6-oz.} package blackberries
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 tsp. lemon zest
  • 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. swerve or stevia
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp. plus 3/4 cup almond flour, divided
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 2 Tbsp. flaxseed
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, softened


  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease an 8" baking dish with cooking spray. In a large bowl, mix berries, lemon zest and juice, 1/2 teaspoon swerve or stevia, vanilla, and 2 tablespoons almond flour. Spread mixture into bottom of prepared baking dish.
  2. 2. In a medium bowl, add remaining 3/4 cup almond flour, pecans, flaxseed, cinnamon, and butter. Using a fork, toss until coarse crumbs form. Sprinkle over berries.
  3. 3. Bake until crumble is golden, about 30-35 minutes. Cool slightly before serving.

I have been back on Keto for a couple weeks now. It is the only thing I have found that keeps my knee feeling good. If I slip up and have bread and sugar or whatever, I can feel it the next day. My knee will ache. It's just not worth it to me to not be on this "diet"

 But I do love my sugary desserts so this recipe was a good one to make. If you are like me and want to try Keto for the health benefits but still want sugar, here are a few things I cannot live without as a staple in my pantry: 

 Swerve sugars for baking or sprinkling on Keto friendly berries.

Lilly's chocolate chips.

This granola, I put unsweetened almond milk on it for breakfast. 

This bread, great with butter and this jam.

 I wish Keto friendly food wasn't so expensive, but I feel so much better when I eat it, so I don't mind a whole lot. To me, it is worth it. 

 If you like things extra sweet, you might want to try sprinkling on some splenda or something similar to the top of this after baking.
