DIY Halloween wreaths & porch ideas

 Hi there!

I am super excited to have you here today to see how I am decorating our porch this year for Halloween.

I shared our porch all decorated for Fall on Tuesday. In case you missed it, you can see it here.

Today I want to show you how easy it is to transition from a Fall porch to a Halloween porch.

Minus my wreath DIY, this only took about 10 min. tops.

But before I get into the details about the decor, I want to show you how I made these fun spider wreaths.

You will start with a regular grapevine wreath. I found mine at Michaels for $4.99.
Then you will just spray paint it with black spray paint.
I used some I had on hand. It doesn't really matter if it is glossy or flat, just personal preference.

I found these great spider picks too and got 3 bunches.

Take each spider off the stem and randomly hot glue them on using a high temp glue gun.

Hang with a black wreath hanger and stand back and admire your wreath!

And to really play up on the whole spider theme, I used these suction cup spiders all over the windows and doors.

So easy and so fun!

The trees and some of the planters got some crows added to them {these were the cheapest and best I found}
For reference, I got the medium size.

And of course, you're gonna need some rats.

And it wouldn't be Halloween without a skeleton, am I right?

galvanized pumpkins keep things playful and kid friendly.

I added battery operated candles to them and at night at dusk they come on and create a beautiful ambiance. Well, maybe spooky not beautiful.

Plenty of pumpkins round things out for this Halloween porch!
I hope you can take away some ideas for your own Halloween porch/home.
